Browsing around, I found a wonderful place to play free online games.

They have tons of games that you can play for free - directly from your browser.  Thats correct, you never need to install a thing - just click on the game that fancies you and there you have it.

Being a speed-freak, I header over to  the Racing Games section. I have to say they have a wonderful collection - heres a sneak preview:

I thoroughly enjoyed playing FFX Runner and Moon Rider - looking forward to trying a few more tomorrow.

Next I went on to the  Skill Games section - a wonderful collection to exercise those grey cells.

Gmeas like Dr Carter and Alien really need you to have full concentration to win - a wonderful way to exercise your mind.

All in all, it was a refreshing experience, and I will be sure to visit again

Reborn is a very youthful and exuberant Wordpress theme.

A 2-column fluid width theme, it is really dynamic and fresh. The header graphics are excellent, and blend in with the theme really well.

This theme sure adds some spice to your otherwise dull blog.

Glory of Action

Glory of action is not one of your out-of-the box kind of themes. It is really well desgined and quite different from the standard Wordpress themes.

Take a look at a screenshot first:

As you can see, the graphics are exquisitely done, and give a really tangy look.

The front page shows up the menu, providing easy navigation throughout the site.

The blog posts are towards the bottom of the page, and are summarized so that the users can move on and read only the post they want to read.

As I said, it is different from the run-off-the-mill themes and in my opinion this would be great for a Women’s Accessories/Jewelery website/blog.

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing.

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like “welcome” or “click here to enter”. In fact, they are just that — pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the “back” button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valueable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don’t know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

5) Avoid using audio on your site

In some circumstances, some people simply make the wrong choice of templates. This is a very subjective issue but you have to be careful in selecting templates to suit your audience. Do not choose templates just because they are pretty, choose them because they serve your purpose.

Major search engines use programs called crawlers or robots to index websites to list on their search result pages. They follow links to a page, reads the content of the page and record it in their own database, pulling up the listing as people search for it.

If you want to make your site indexed easily, you should avoid using frames on your website. Frames will only confuse search engine robots and they might even abandon your site because of that. Moreover, frames make it difficult for users to bookmark a specific page on your site without using long, complicated scripts.

Do not present important information in Flash movies or in images. Search engine robots can only read text on your source code so if you present important words in Flash movies and images rather than textual form, your search engine ranking will be affected dramatically.

Use meta tags accordingly on each and every page of your site so that search engine robots know at first glance what that particular page is about and whether or not to index it. By using meta tags, you are making the search engine robot’s job easier so they will crawl and index your site more frequently.

Stop using wrong HTML tags like <font> to style your page. Use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) instead because they are more effective and efficient. By using CSS, you can eliminate redundant HTML tags and make your pages much lighter and faster to load.

DON’T

Never, ever, ever click on your own ads.  Google Adsense makes it very clear this won’t be tolerated.

Don’t ask your friends and family to click on your ads.  Rather, earn money by referring them to the Google Adsense program.

Don’t participate in the Google Adsense program strictly for the money. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It will take time and hard work to make a profit.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand everything the first day.  Although the Google Adsense program is extremely user-friendly, it may take a little time to integrate all the facets of the program.  Be patient and above all, have fun!
